Cash Flow Lending FAQs

Invoice finance works best for B2B businesses that issue invoices with payment terms — typically construction, labour hire, transport, manufacturing, professional services, and wholesale. If you invoice clients who pay in 30–90 days and have cash flow timing issues as a result, invoice finance is worth exploring.
A business loan gives you a lump sum you repay in fixed instalments. Invoice finance is dynamic — the amount available grows with your business as you issue more invoices. You're effectively accessing money you've already earned but haven't been paid yet. It's often faster to set up and doesn't require property security.
Not necessarily. "Confidential invoice finance" (also called non-notification factoring) keeps the arrangement private — your clients pay you as normal and you manage the relationship. "Disclosed factoring" notifies clients that a third party is involved. We'll recommend the right structure for your situation.
Once a facility is set up, invoice finance typically releases funds within 24 hours of a qualifying invoice being submitted. Setting up the facility takes 2–5 business days. Lines of credit and overdrafts are also accessible instantly once approved.
